This long review is for naturally biased and overly cautious people like me looking for a photograher - Prabhakar deserves all the 5 star reviews he has and at least the review i gave him wasn't a paid one 🙂 Read further to know why i rated him so high.I was looking for a headshot photo and since it was my first time to get such a photoshoot, I had no idea of the costing or the time it takes or how the process works. Due to my lack of knowledge on this, i was overly cautious to not get conned or be over charged.My online search landed me to Prabhakar's website. Seeing so many reviews of Prabhakar with a 5 rating I assumed these reviews were fake which he would have planted it through his friends. However I decided to call him and judge him after i speak with him. As i started my conversation with him over whatsapp and then over call, something told me he is genuine person and could be trusted.It wasn't so much about the cost (which apparenly was lesser than what other photographer had quoted) but it was more about the disappointment in case if the results weren't as I was expecting; since i needed a good photo for a specific purpose.Anyways, within an hour of speaking to him I booked the service for the next day. I was still hesitant and asked if I could pay only a small amount as advance (as against half the price which seemed the usual process) to which he readily agreed thereby gaining more trust.Yet, I still had some doubts when I reached his studio and was prepared to be disappointed. However, once i got ready for the photoshoot and got into the process, it was 100% validated why his reviews were so high. Not for a second since then I had any doubts that I made the right decision.He was very flexible to work with, he kept giving me the right suggestions for posing and kept aligning on the photos he took by showing it over ipad continously, he had a guy on stand-by to add any touch up and adjust lighting while he kept suggesting various poses and taking photos.He was more passionate about getting the right photo for me and it reflected in every bit of his efforts. During the process, I had photos in 4-6 different looks multiplied with 3-4 different angles and poses. In total I had more than 200 photos to choose from. The quality of the photos was good enough to use them as final but he still offered to clean and touch up upto 6 photos within the cost agreed. and shared soft copies of ALL those 200+ photos in high quality.While we were packing up, I had a very open coversation with him and i eve told him how hesitant I was specially after reading so many 5 star reviews 🙂 i found during our coverstaion that he studied to be a fasion designer but took up photography to pursue his passion and I could see that in the way he helped me get what i needed and was looking for.I have since then recommended him to few of my freinds who needed a photogapher. If you have read until now, you most probably would give him a chance. on that, I must tell you what i also tell my freinds whom i recommend Prabhakar - I discussed with Prabhakar at leangth what I needed and what would be the cost involved. In case if you expect everything that I recieved and have mentioned above, please specifically discuss about it agree on the price. I have understood through my experience and process that number of photo clicked for any individual may vary from that of another one. maybe I was not posing correctly and hence needed more. the point is not how much photos he clicked, but his relentless efforts to give his client the best.The reason I chose to write such a long review is because I feel apart from being an excellent photogrpher, Prabhakar is very good human being. This is my way of helping and encouraging him by sharing my experience with people like me who need a photographer and could use my review to make a decision.
